This is at West Macdonald ranges out to 2-mile. With my thepa kwatja wintjarra, every time when we go out to see country, we see different different birds sitting around the river, the creek. Desert big birds, like pelicans and black swans. And little ducks, untjwarra, white cranes sitting round, and those little turka tal tal, those little birds sitting by the water. The ones with the red cheeks, eating little worms on the side of the road, or on the sand. Maybe theres a lot of fish in the water, even the yabbys in the water they like to eat them while they’re swimming. We notice them, sometimes they’re eating fish. Sometimes we go fishing and we notice there are lots thepa around, then we know there's lots of fish in the water.
