The Bett Gallery Award is given to a UTAS graduating student who shows a particularly high standard of artistic merit, imagination and determination. The winner of this award is given the opportunity to join the Bett Gallery program, culminating in an exhibition with the support of Bett Gallery directors, staff and artists.
Among other things the winner will receive: curatorial support and mentorship, significant national and international exposure and the opportunity to launch their career in one of Australia’s most established commercial galleries.
We congratulate the 2022 winner, Lucinda Bresnehan. Lucinda's competent, sublime paintings explore the transitions that evolve between the internal and external environments.
Lucinda will be exhibiting at Bett Gallery in October 2023.
