POETS AND PAINTERS: A TRIBUTE TO DICK BETT AM

Dick Bett staged a series of Poets & Painters exhibitions over 25 years bringing together his love of the visual arts and of poetry with his focus on building a strong arts community in Tasmania. These collaborations produced many friendships and working relationships as poets and artists responded to each others’ work, challenged by new ways of thinking.

Poets & Painters : A tribute to Dick Bett AM sees the return of this significant project. Witness a feast of performance, visual art and poetry, as 32 poets and 32 painters and their work take over Bett Gallery and move into the North Hobart precinct.

Poetry readings on Friday 2 August 2013 from 6pm
and Saturday 3 August 2013 from 3pm.
