POETS AND PAINTERS: A TRIBUTE TO DICK BETT AM Dick Bett staged a series of Poets & Painters exhibitions over 25 years bringing together his love of the visual arts and of poetry with his focus on building a strong arts community in Tasmania. These collaborations produced many friendships and working relationships as poets and artists responded to each others’ work, challenged by new ways of thinking. Poets & Painters : A tribute to Dick Bett AM sees the return of this significant project. Witness a feast of performance, visual art and poetry, as 32 poets and 32 painters and their work take over Bett Gallery and move into the North Hobart precinct.
